This summer i bought the Panasonic Lumix LX5. I love it. I’ve loved every minute using it. Suddenly I have a camera that take awesome photos with stunning colors and is so small I have it with me all the time. Here are some of my summer photos. Most of them are shot with full auto.
Camera on a stick
A friend just bought a camera stick, a telescope stick with a camera mount on top. That is so cool. Then I saw this video and just knew I had to get me one of those before my New York trip.
Update: Just ordered a camera stick! Or a “stainless steel handheld monopod” as they say over at Dealextreme. For $11 they can call it whatever they want. I just hope China Mail gets it here in time.
Stop eating! Hold it… Now eat!
I just read the book Eat Stop Eat about weight loss by fasting. It’s great. The basic idea is that when you eat you store fat and when you don’t eat you burn fat. Simple. So all I have to do to lose weight, is to stop eating for a while. Preferably 24 hours at a time. Once or twice a week.
It sound so simple and so hard at the same time, I just had to try it. I’m fasting right now. All I’ve consumed since yesterday’s dinner is coffee and water. Surprisingly, It’s not that hard. In fact, I’m feeling a bit buzzed.
Yeah, I’ve heard that the metabolism drops when you’re fasting. But the author says that’s not true. Time will show, I guess.
Oh, and I should add that I’m also exercising and following a slow card carb diet. I’ll let you know when the results starts to show.
