I just read the book Eat Stop Eat about weight loss by fasting. It’s great. The basic idea is that when you eat you store fat and when you don’t eat you burn fat. Simple. So all I have to do to lose weight, is to stop eating for a while. Preferably 24 hours at a time. Once or twice a week.
It sound so simple and so hard at the same time, I just had to try it. I’m fasting right now. All I’ve consumed since yesterday’s dinner is coffee and water. Surprisingly, It’s not that hard. In fact, I’m feeling a bit buzzed.
Yeah, I’ve heard that the metabolism drops when you’re fasting. But the author says that’s not true. Time will show, I guess.
Oh, and I should add that I’m also exercising and following a slow card carb diet. I’ll let you know when the results starts to show.
